- Opportunities for career progression within the People function We're looking for a customer-focused People Services Delivery Assistant to join our People Services Delivery team and play an important role in delivering a professional, responsive and high-quality service to colleagues and managers across the organisation.
As a key member of the team, you'll sit at the centre of the colleague experience, helping to ensure people processes run smoothly, queries are resolved efficiently and colleagues receive the support they need throughout their employment journey.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
You'll be part of a collaborative People Services Delivery function that combines People Administration and Employee Relations support, providing exposure to a broad range of HR activities and people processes.
The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and managers at all levels.
As the first point of contact for many People-related enquiries, you'll play a key role in creating a positive experience for colleagues, providing clear guidance, signposting and support while helping ensure more complex matters are directed to the appropriate specialist teams.
You'll contribute to an efficient and customer-focused People Services Delivery function that values continuous improvement, teamwork and delivering consistently high standards of service across the organisation.
What You'll Do
- Provide a professional, responsive and customer-focused People service
- Deliver clear advice, guidance and signposting on People policies, procedures and colleague lifecycle activities
- Complete end-to-end HR administration activities
- Prepare and issue employment documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date colleague records across People systems
- Respond to routine and low-level Employee Relations queries
- Act as a key triage point for Employee Relations matters
- Work collaboratively with Employee Relations Specialists and the wider People Services team
- Identify common themes, recurring queries and opportunities for improvement
