Salary: Β£38,000 per annum – Including call-out and company van

Are you a Qualified Electrician with a passion for quality workmanship and safety? Join Anchor Repairs & Property Services (ARPS) and help us deliver outstanding electrical services across a portfolio of up to 5,000 locations.

As part of our dedicated team, you will carry out installations, inspections, and testing to ensure our homes remain safe, compliant, and in excellent condition. This is a site-based role, requiring travel within the Northeast β€” so flexibility and a full UK driving license are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical installations, inspections, testing, and repairs
  • Diagnosing faults and delivering effective solutions
  • Ensuring all work complies with the latest electrical safety legislation
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation and being fully conversant with the current NICEIC 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Working independently or as part of a team to complete jobs to high standards
  • Maintaining and caring for company tools and equipment
  • Completing site documentation accurately and on time
  • Following all SHEQ and PPE guidelines to work safely

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 2391 or EAL Inspection & Testing qualification
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
  • JIB Gold Card
  • Proven experience in electrical repairs and maintenance, ideally in housing or care environments
  • A full, valid UK driving license
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and a professional approach
