Construction Logistics Manager – London Area (Future Projects)

Location: London & Surrounding Areas

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Logistics Manager to join our team in preparation for upcoming projects across the London area. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing logistics operations on new build residential and fit‑out schemes, ensuring the safe, efficient, and coordinated delivery of all site logistics activities.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organisation with a strong pipeline of work in 2025 and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all site logistics operations from inception to completion.
  • Develop and implement project‑specific logistics plans, traffic management plans, and delivery schedules.
  • Manage and coordinate logistics supervisors, operatives, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee delivery management systems, vehicle movements, and site access.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, main contractors, and site teams for seamless coordination.
  • Manage site waste and material handling in line with sustainability targets.
  • Provide regular progress reports and attend project meetings.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management or equivalent.
  • Black CSCS Manager’s Card.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
  • Valid First Aid at Work certificate.
  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager on major construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of new build residential and fit‑out environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Experience working for a Construction Logistics Contractor – advantageous.
