We are a software company based in London and it is a startup company whose primary products are various forms of software, software technology, distribution, and software product development for clients all over the world. Being a startup, we currently have secured a few contracts from the local education sector client, real estate, and e-commerce clients in providing end-to-end IT services for both software and hardware.
We are looking for Graphic Designers who possess end-to-end design, testing, and deployment experience in Agile Model. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the complete design process from conception to deployment for the online tutoring application.
- Maintaining and upgrading the design elements following deployment.
- Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of visual assets and design applications.
- Overseeing and guiding the analyzing, creating, building, and deployment of e-tutoring software designs.
- Overseeing the automated testing of design elements and providing feedback to management during the development process of e-tutoring apps.
- Modifying and testing changes to previously developed design programs for the school project.
- Develop and maintain new design templates and front-end features.
- Document the design, development setup, and troubleshooting steps for visual services.
- Produce high-quality complex deliverables with minimal input and supervision.
- Participate in reviewing design and code for other team members.
- Participate in the development process from definition to deployment.
- Write, review, and maintain design documentation.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality visual elements (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch).
- Own both the client-side and mid-tier design products.
- Define and constantly improve the visual architecture for our products.
- Develop and iterate on a full design stack.
- Perform design reviews for team deliverables to ensure designs follow documented standards and best practices.
- Communicate and interact with product managers and end users.
- Help evolve visual systems architecture to consistently improve development efficiency.
- Work with the QA Team to develop testing protocols to identify and correct design challenges.
- Mentor other designers on best practices, peer program, and design review.
- Work with a small team on cutting-edge research and development projects.
- Work with product owners and end-users to clarify specifications and get feedback.
- Prepare unit test cases and validate the results for design accuracy.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure design coherence and scalability.
Needed Skills:
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience with web design and development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React preferred).
- Strong understanding of visual design principles and UI/UX design.
- Experience with creating responsive designs for various devices.
- Familiarity with prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
- Knowledge of branding, typography, and color theory.
- Ability to create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
- Experience in creating and maintaining design systems and style guides.
- Experience with npm or yarn build tools.
- Familiarity with JBoss application server for local deployment/development (if applicable to the design process).
- Familiarity with Apache HTTP server for local deployment/development (if applicable to the design process).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with product managers and developers.
- Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in design processes and tools.
- Experience with object-oriented programming and UI Design (if applicable to the role).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and skills.
