Job Role: Relief Cleaning Operative
Working Hours: Zero hours
Pay: Β£12.24 per hour
Location: Market Place Shopping Centre, Bolton
Reporting to: Dual Services Manager & Contracts Manager
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for an experienced cleaner to join our established team based at Market Place Shopping Centre in Bolton. The successful candidates will be required to carry out a range of cleaning tasks, safely and professionally, to a high standard. You must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, have the ability to communicate on all levels and provide flexibility to cover additional shifts, as and when required. As a Relief Cleaning Operative, you will play a vital role in supporting the cleaning team by stepping in to cover shifts during staff absences, peak periods, or events.
Duties Include:
- Patrolling the centre, remaining vigilant at all times to ensure any litter is removed
- Emptying of bins, ensuring recycled waste is disposed of correctly
- Assisting with preventing any site accidents by clearing any spills within an efficient time, ensuring the safety of centre staff and the public
- Remaining flexible to cover duties
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Acting as a first line support to customers and visitors to site, providing a professional and friendly service
- Service Road duties as and when required
- Understanding the needs of our customer, respond accordingly to customer queries and requests and take appropriate action
- Maintaining professional conduct at all times
Requirements
- An understanding of COSHH
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Flexibility to cover shifts as and when required
- Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High level of enthusiasm and passion
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
