Overview
An excitingopportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for anexperienced cleaner to join the site cleaning team at PIB Halifax as a Relief Cleaning Operative.
The successfulcandidate will be required to carry out a range of cleaningtasks, safely and professionally, to a high standard. Youmust be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, havethe ability to communicate on all levels and provideflexibility to cover additional shifts, as and whenrequired.
If you do not already hold a valid DBS certificate, you will require a DBS check before starting.
Dutiesinclude:
- Cleaning ofdesignated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaningspecification is completed, as per the siteinstructions
- Emptying of bins,ensuring recycled waste is disposed ofcorrectly
- Attending tospillages by making sure they are cleaned up, within anefficient timeframe, to prevent accidents and ensure site andstaff safety
- Following H&Sand COSHH regulations
- Use ofsite-specific equipment, machinery and handlingchemicals
- Proactiveinteraction with on-site clients and customers, offeringsuperb customer service
- Use ofsite-specific equipment, machinery and handlingchemicals
- Carrying out anyother reasonable management requests
Requirements
- A basic DBS check is required prior to starting
- Good attention todetail
- Good verbal andwritten communication skills
- Ability to workindependently and use initiative
- Flexibility to covershifts as and when required
- Reliable andresponsible with a flexible approach to work
- Accessto a range of nationally recognised courses to help further yourcareer, via the Anchor Academy
