Job Role: DualService Operative (Security & Cleaning)
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern (07:00-19:00) – average 42 hours per week
Pay: £13.21 per hour
Location: Longton Exchange Shopping Centre, Stoke-on-Trent, ST3 2JA
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services,for an experienced Dual Service Operative (Security & Cleaning) to join ourestablished team based at Longton Exchange Shopping Centre, Stoke-on-Trent.
This role combines both cleaning and security responsibilities, ensuring the centre remains safe, clean, and welcoming for all visitors. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out routine cleaning tasks as well as maintain a visible security presence, responding to incidents and supporting the overall safety of the site.
The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Licence as aminimum. You will be part of a forward thinking team that delivers a high levelof customer service, assisting with the site cleaning and security and overall running of the centre.
Duties include:
- Protecting the client’s property, people and/or assets byproviding security services in direct accordance with the sites publishedAssignment Instructions (AI’s) and site-specific procedures
- Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities;informing offenders of policy and procedures
- Preventing and escalating incidents in a timely, accurate andappropriate manner to the Control Room/ Shift Manager/OperationsManager/Emergency Services as appropriate for serious incidents
- Completing reports by recording observations, information,occurrences, and surveillance activities
- Maintaining organisation\’s stability and reputation bycomplying with legal requirements
- React accordingly to any cleaning needs such as litter pickingand reactive cleaning of spillages, mopping and upkeep of centre.
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related resultsas needed
- Acting as a first line support to customers and visitors tosite, providing a professional and friendly service
- Understanding the needs of our customer, respond accordinglyto customer queries and requests and take appropriate action
- Maintaining professional conduct at all times
Requirements
- Full5-year employment checkable history
- Validfrontline SIA licence DS or SG
- CustomerService experience and confidence to handle conflict in a correctmanner
- Flexibleto meet the job requirements
