Job Description

Job Role: DualService Operative (Security & Parking)

Working Hours: 35 hoursper week (average), 4 on 4 off shift pattern, Monday-Saturday 08:30-18:30 &Sunday 10:00-17:00

Pay: £ 12.55 per hour

Location: StockportRetail Park, SK1 2HH

Reporting to: SupportServices Manager

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services,for an experienced Dual Service (Security & Parking) Operative to join ourestablished contract based in a retail environment at Stockport Retail Park.

The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Licence as aminimum. You will be part of a forward thinking team that delivers a high levelof customer services, security and general facilities.

As a Dual Service Security and Parking Operative you willassist with the overall running of the centre and will be working with the Dual Services Supervisor and Services team to meet company and customer expectations.

Duties Include:

  • Conducting regular patrols of aportfolio of car park locations to ensure vehicles comply with the advertisedterms and conditions for parking.
  • Issuing Parking Charge Notices tonon-compliant vehicles
  • Conducting site surveys andensuring ongoing compliance with the BPA AOS Code of Practice
  • Preparing and submitting incidentreports
  • Providing a customer service presence to car park users
  • To secure premises and personnelby patrolling property; inspecting buildings, equipment, access points andpermitting entry.
  • To avert losses and damage byreporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures.
  • Communicating effectively withthe Parking Services Team, ensuring information is accurately shared withregards to the site and specific customer requests.
  • To complete and compile reportsby recording and logging observations, information, occurrences, andsurveillance activities as well as interviewing witnesses and obtainingsignatures.
  • To maintain effective andpositive working relationships with the team, client management, tenants, andthe local police.
  • The operative must adhere toCompany and Customer policies and procedures in a fair and professional manneras well as uphold compliance with all legal requirements to maintain theorganisations stability and reputation.
  • Carrying out any other reasonablemanagement requests

  • Full5-year employment checkable history
  • Validfrontline SIA licence DS or SG
  • CustomerService experience and confidence to handle conflict in a correctmanner
  • Flexibleto meet the job requirements
