About the Role
As a Cleaning Operative, you'll play akey role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation acrossthis exciting new destination. Working across retail, residential and publicspaces, you'll carry out routine and reactive cleaning duties, support wastemanagement activities, and help create a clean, safe and welcoming environmentfor everyone who visits, lives or works at The Elephant.
You'll be a proud ambassador for bothAnchor Group Services and The Elephant, demonstrating professionalism,reliability and excellent customer service at all times.
Duties Include:
- Maintain high standards of cleanlinessacross residential, retail, and public areas,.
- Carry out routine, deep cleaningtasks, responding promptly to spillages, hazards, and cleanliness issues toensure a safe environment for all site users.
- Support waste management and recyclinginitiatives, including the collection and disposal of waste in line with siteprocedures.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely andeffectively, ensuring all equipment and cleaning materials are maintained in aclean and organised condition.
- Complete cleaning schedules,inspections, and required documentation, reporting defects, maintenance issues,and health & safety concerns as necessary.
- Support the preparation andpresentation of the development during events, peak periods, and otheroperational activities.
- Provide a professional and customerfriendly service to residents, visitors, retailers, and colleagues, helping tocreate a welcoming environment.
- Workcollaboratively with Security, Maintenance, and Management teams whilecomplying with Health & Safety, COSHH, and all site procedures.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience within commercial,residential, retail or facilities environments.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride inmaintaining high standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of ateam.
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach towork.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours and duties.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-facingenvironment.
- Understandingof Health & Safety responsibilities within the workplace
