Job Role: Mobile Response Officer (Security)
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 42 hours per week average (12-hour shift); flexible for day and night shifts as required.
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Location: Chester Business Park, CH4 9QE
Reporting to: Support Services Manager
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for an experienced Mobile Response Officer to join our mobile response team based at Chester Business Park. You will be responsible for alarm activations and deactivations, scheduled locking and unlocking of client buildings, and mobile patrols to ensure safety and security of multiple sites. You will work closely with the Support Services Manager and our 24‑hour Control Room to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Duties Include:
- Protect client’s property, people and/or assets by providing security services in accordance with Assignment Instructions and site procedures.
- Follow set run sheets and complete appropriate documentation.
- Secure premises by performing scheduled locking and unlocking procedures.
- Conduct thorough foot patrols and building inspections to identify and report security risks.
- Respond promptly to alarm activations, assess situations and take action to safeguard property and people.
- Carry out regular site and welfare checks for staff and visitors.
- Liaise with emergency services during incidents, providing clear information and support.
- Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance.
- Undertake parking enforcement and monitoring duties in line with client requirements.
- Adapt quickly to different environments and tasks while maintaining strong security presence.
- Provide detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs for audit and compliance.
- Support ad‑hoc tasks such as supervising deliveries when required.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence – ESSENTIAL
- Valid frontline SIA licence (DS or SG) – ESSENTIAL
- Full 5‑year employment history – ESSENTIAL
- Basic vehicle upkeep knowledge.
- Basic computer/smartphone literacy.
- Good customer service skills.
- Experience with conflict resolution and confidence to handle confrontational situations.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Time‑keeping skills and punctuality.
- Flexibility to meet job requirements.
