Overview
Anexciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for an experienced SecurityOfficer to join our established security team based at Market Place Shopping Centre, Bolton.
The successful candidate must have a valid SIA CCTV and DS licence. As a Relief Security Officer, youwill be required to support the site security team by being flexible and reliable to cover shifts as required, this includes working a variety of hours and shifts (days, nights, weekends). You will be responsible for providinga high level of customer service to visitors to the site, ensuring the safety of all visitors and completing patrols andremaining vigilant at all times.
Dutiesinclude:
- Protecting the client’s property, people and/or assets byproviding security services in direct accordance with the sites publishedAssignment Instructions (AI’s) and site-specific procedures
- Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities;informing offenders of policy and procedures
- Preventing and escalating incidents in a timely, accurateand appropriate manner to the Control Room/ Shift Manager/OperationsManager/Emergency Services as appropriate for serious incidents
- Completing reports by recording observations,information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
- Maintaining organisation\’s stability and reputation bycomplying with legal requirements
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing relatedresults as needed
- Acting as a first line support to customers and visitorsto site, providing a professional and friendly service
- Understanding the needs of our customer, respondaccordingly to customer queries and requests and take appropriate action
- Maintaining professional conduct at all times
Requirements
- Full5-year employment checkable history – essential
- ValidFront Line SIA licence (Door Supervision or Security Guarding) – essential
- CustomerService experience and confidence to handle conflict in a correctmanner
- Flexibleto meet the job requirements
