Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for an experienced cleaner to join our established team based at Waverley Market in Edinburgh as a Relief Cleaning Operative. This position has arisen as a result of Anchor’s ongoing expansion, making it an exciting time to join our expanding team and be part of a dynamic future.
The successfulcandidate will be required to carry out a range of cleaningtasks, safely and professionally, to a high standard. Youmust be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, havethe ability to communicate on all levels and provideflexibility to cover additional shifts, as and whenrequired.
Dutiesinclude:
- Cleaning ofdesignated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaningspecification is completed, as per the siteinstructions
- Emptying of bins,ensuring recycled waste is disposed ofcorrectly
- Attending tospillages by making sure they are cleaned up, within anefficient timeframe, to prevent accidents and ensure siteand staff safety
- Following H&Sand COSHH regulations
- Use ofsite-specific equipment, machinery and handlingchemicals
- Proactiveinteraction with on-site clients and customers, offeringsuperb customer service.
