Do you care about data quality, consistency, and trust? A key client of mine is recruiting for a Data Governance Analyst to help them embed their strong data governance practices across the organisation and support enterprise-wide data and records management initiatives.
Key Tasks:
- Supporting the delivery of a data governance strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
- Driving data quality, consistency, and compliance across key data domains.
- Supporting Master Data Management (MDM) and metadata management initiatives.
- Maintaining data dictionaries, glossaries, catalogues, and lineage.
- Collaborating with IT, business teams, data owners, and records management stakeholders.
- Supporting governance forums, audits, and decision-making processes.
- Helping ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Strong experience in data governance, data stewardship, and data lifecycle management.
- Hands‐on exposure to MDM and data quality initiatives.
- Power BI, Python, SAP, Databricks, or Data Factory exposure.
- Familiarity with tools such as Azure Purview, SharePoint, SQL, and cloud data platforms.
- Experience working in agile and cloud-based data environments.
