About the Role
We are currently supporting a number of nurseries and early years settings across Kent who are looking for passionate and experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join their teams. These roles offer the opportunity to work within supportive and nurturing environments, helping to deliver high-quality early years education and care to children during their most important stages of development. Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible basis, with potential for permanent positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the learning and development of children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote learning through play
- Ensuring a safe, secure and stimulating environment for all children
- Building strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Monitoring and recording children’s progress and development
- Supporting safeguarding and welfare requirements at all times
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
