About the Role

We are currently working with a number of primary and secondary schools across North West London who are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants (Level 2 or above) to join their teams. These roles offer the opportunity to support pupils across a range of year groups, contributing to a positive learning environment and helping students reach their full potential. Positions are available on both a long-term and flexible basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
  • Working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis with pupils
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN where required
  • Helping to prepare classroom materials and resources
  • Promoting a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with children or within an education setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, reliable and adaptable approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
