Overview: Enterprise Sales Director - UK to drive new enterprise customer acquisition in the United Kingdom with a clear path to evolve into a Country Head UK role. Senior, individual contributor reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer EMEA, responsible for new logo acquisition in the UK market. Requires a highly experienced enterprise SaaS seller with strong commercial execution and country-building mindset.
Scope & Objectives:
- Full ownership of new customer acquisition (new logos only) in the UK
- Focus on mid-market to enterprise customers
- No SMB, no farming, no account management
- Build the UK pipeline, close flagship customers, and lay foundations for future team expansion
- Target ARR per deal: typically, €100k+
- Target Customers: Enterprise and upper mid-market: 3PLs and logistics operators with fulfilment and/or digital commerce operations, Retail brands (DTC & omnichannel), Large eCommerce merchants / distributors. All customers are UK-based, with frequent cross-border or international operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Acquisition (Core Responsibility): Define and execute the new logo acquisition strategy for the UK market, Identify, prospect, and close enterprise customers, Own the full sales cycle: discovery → value positioning → negotiation → contract signature, Build and maintain a high-quality enterprise pipeline aligned with revenue targets, Consistently achieve and exceed annual sales targets.
- Enterprise & Consultative Selling: Sell Anchanto’s SaaS platforms for eCommerce, logistics, and fulfilment operations, Deeply understand customer business models, operational complexity, and growth challenges, Position solutions based on business impact and ROI, not features, Navigate complex buying committees and long sales cycles.
- Market & Ecosystem Development: Build strong relationships with key UK ecosystem players (partners, platforms, industry bodies), Act as Anchanto’s senior commercial representative in the UK market, Provide structured feedback to Product and Leadership on UK market needs and trends.
- Internal Collaboration & Reporting: Work with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams to support complex deals, Ensure deal feasibility, alignment, and successful handover, Report directly to the CRO EMEA on pipeline, forecasts, closed deals, and strategic opportunities.
Evolution to Country Head UK: Based on performance and market traction, this role is expected to evolve toward a Country Head UK position, with: Local market leadership, Team build-up (SDR first, then sales expansion), Broader ownership of the UK business, potentially including P&L responsibility.
Essential Requirements:
- 8-12+ years of experience in B2B SaaS enterprise sales
- Strong background in eCommerce, logistics, fulfilment, supply chain or shipping technologies
- Proven track record of closing complex enterprise deals
- Experience selling OMS, WMS, TMS, shipping platforms, eCommerce infrastructure
- Strong understanding of eCommerce operational flows and logistics constraints
- Established network in the UK eCommerce and/or logistics ecosystem
- Experience operating as a senior, autonomous contributor.
Location & Eligibility: Must be based in the United Kingdom (London preferred), Right to work in the UK required, Availability for in-person meetings and office presence when needed.
