ANCC Studio is assembling a roster of Art Directors for ongoing shoots and campaigns. This is a roster call-out. We won’t respond to immediate submissions. Portfolios are reviewed on a rolling basis and we’ll be in touch when a brief aligns.

Location: London-based.

The Role:

  • Lead shoots with a clear visual standard, working across campaign, lookbook, and editorial capture.
  • Set and maintain the creative direction on set, ensuring lighting, styling, posing, and framing align with the brand vision.
  • Oversee selects with confidence, balancing strong product visibility with an editorial point of view.
  • Create reference boards, shot lists, and quick treatments to support campaign, content, and e-commerce needs.
  • Ensure each shoot aligns with brand direction, commercial goals, and the required output.

The Candidate:

  • A sharp editorial eye, with a strong sense of composition and elevated imagery across fashion and luxury.
  • Experience art directing campaign, lookbook, or editorial shoots for fashion, beauty, or luxury brands.
  • Confident making selects at pace, balancing commercial priorities with refined taste.
  • Comfort leading a set, working with photographers, stylists, HMU, set assistants, and production.
  • A tidy and reliable workflow, able to uphold consistency across high-volume shooting environments.
  • Comfortable working within budgets and timelines, with a calm and organised approach on set.
  • Solid Capture One understanding for reviewing, marking, and managing selects on set is a plus.
  • E-commerce experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
  • London-based or able to work to UK hours, with availability for studio days when needed.

Working with ANCC:

  • Freelance or contract-based, tied to project scopes and POs.
  • Collaboration with our Creative, Production, and Post teams.
  • Hybrid workflow, remote for prep, in-studio for shoots.
  • Opportunities across campaign, lookbook, editorial, and e-commerce content.
