ANCC Studio is assembling a roster of e-commerce Art Directors for ongoing shoots. This is a roster call-out. We won’t respond to immediate submissions. Portfolios are reviewed on a rolling basis and we’ll be in touch when a brief aligns. London-based.

Role

  • Lead e-commerce shoots with a clear visual standard, working across model, stills, and detail capture.
  • Maintain consistency across lighting, posing, and framing, working closely with photographers.
  • Oversee selects with confidence, strong product visibility, and an editorial point of view.
  • Create reference boards, shot lists, and quick treatments to support e-commerce and content needs.
  • Ensure each shoot aligns with brand direction, commercial goals, and the required weekly output.

Candidate

  • A sharp editorial eye, with a strong sense of composition and elevated commercial imagery.
  • Confident making selects at pace, balancing commercial priorities with refined taste.
  • Solid Capture One understanding, especially for reviewing, marking, and managing selects on set.
  • Experience directing model e-com, detail stills, volume shoots, or hybrid e-com/editorial days.
  • Comfort leading a set, working with photographers, stylists, HMU, set assistants, and production.
  • A tidy and reliable workflow, able to uphold consistency across high-volume shooting environments.
  • Comfortable working within budgets and timelines, with a calm and organised approach on set.
  • London-based or able to work to UK hours, with availability for studio days when needed.

Working with ANCC

  • Freelance or contract-based, tied to project scopes and POs.
  • Collaboration with our Creative, Production, and Post teams.
  • Hybrid workflow, remote for prep, in-studio for shoots.
  • Opportunities across model e-com, elevated product stills, and campaign content.
