The successful candidate will lead end-to-end project delivery, manage stakeholder relationships at senior level, and ensure that Oracle Fusion solutions align with the client's commercial and operational priorities in a fast-paced CPG environment.
As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:
- Lead and manage full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations, upgrades and quarterly patch releases on behalf of a large CPG brand client.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, building trusted relationships and providing strategic guidance on Oracle Fusion Cloud best practice.
- Develop, own and maintain end-to-end project plans, risk registers, RAID logs, and governance frameworks to ensure delivery within scope, time and budget.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams including functional consultants, technical architects, integration specialists and client business teams across Finance, SCM, Manufacturing and HR workstreams.
- Oversee design and implementation of integration solutions between Oracle Fusion Cloud and third-party enterprise applications (e.g. EDI, 3PL systems, trade promotion platforms).
- Manage change control processes and ensure robust configuration and testing governance across all Fusion Cloud modules.
- Drive adoption of Oracle Cloud APIs, OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) and automated solutions to streamline CPG business processes.
- Ensure security configurations, role-based access control (RBAC) and data privacy requirements are met in line with client and regulatory standards.
- Produce and maintain high-quality project documentation including solution design documents, process maps, status reports and executive dashboards.
- Provide oversight and mentoring to junior project managers and functional consultants within the team.
- Facilitate workshops, steering committee meetings and executive-level communications with the client.
Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:
- Minimum 10 years of Oracle Fusion Cloud project management experience, with proven delivery of large-scale implementations in a CPG, FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Deep functional knowledge across Oracle Fusion Cloud modules including Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA), SCM (Procurement, Inventory, Order Management), Manufacturing and EPM Cloud.
- Proven experience managing senior stakeholder relationships within complex, multi-site client organisations.
- Strong background in end-to-end project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall or hybrid), with demonstrable experience managing budgets of £1m+.
- Experience of CPG-specific business processes including trade promotion management, demand planning, supply chain optimisation and financial consolidation.
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Fusion REST/SOAP APIs and BI Publisher or OTBI reporting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical executive audiences.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple workstreams simultaneously in a high-pressure, client-facing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to issue resolution.
- Degree educated in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Business, Engineering); Prince2, PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
