Anaplan is looking for a UX Design Manager to join our growing global User Experience team. You’ll be based in our York office or working remotely in the UK, leading a team of designers within our product organization.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the experience of a world-class enterprise planning platform. You’ll lead a team focused on delivering intuitive, data-rich, and scalable experiences that support business users across finance, operations, and planning.

Reporting to the Head of UX, you’ll play a key role in developing team culture, supporting designer growth, and aligning design priorities with product strategy.

Your Impact

  • Manage and mentor a team of UX designers, supporting their growth, wellbeing, and performance.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture that values quality, feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead design for a product area, balancing people management with hands-on contribution.
  • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional leads to shape strategy and execution.
  • Guide the team in applying our design system, accessibility practices, and platform-wide UX standards.
  • Facilitate design reviews, support research initiatives, and advocate for user-centered design across the organization.
  • Report to the Head of UX and contribute to broader design leadership initiatives.

Your Qualifications

  • Extensive background in UX or product design, including previous experience in a people management role.
  • Experience designing complex systems or enterprise platforms.
  • Strong communicator who can align stakeholders and elevate design conversations.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop individual designers.
  • Hands-on design experience with Figma, design systems, and accessibility standards.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in enterprise SaaS or financial planning software.
  • Familiarity with modeling tools such as Anaplan, SAP, Workday, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and cross-functional product development.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
  • Strong interest in developing UX strategy, process, or design operations.
