Anaplan is looking for a dynamic PRESALES PLATFORM SECURITY ARCHITECT to become a vital part of our PRE-SALES team to support the EMEA region. Join the energy and come be part of the momentum! This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-impact pre-sales team, where you'll lead technical discussions with prospective customers and guide them through topics like platform architecture, security, data integration, and compliance. As a trusted advisor, you'll help clear the path for IT approval and support the broader sales process.
You will work cross-functionally with Account Executives, Product Management, and Security teams to align technical solutions with business value. Insight on your Impact- Interpret and align client IT/security needs with our platform’s capabilities.
- Explore and share information on key technical topics to alleviate concerns and attain customer IT/security signoff.
- Act as an effective communication bridge between technical teams and business units, for the prospect and for Anaplan.
- Work closely with Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, and other teams to ensure technical alignment with sales strategies.
To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills:
- French language fluency is a requirement.
- Native English and French speaker, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable leading a technical conversation with a small group (5 to 15 people).
- Clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Able to comfortably adjust your communication style to your audience’s level and needs.
- Strong problem-solving and customer-centric mindset.
- Experience in technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or similar roles.
- Background in technical implementations, engineering, network/server administration, or ETL (a plus).
- Experience with enterprise planning software or similar solutions.
- Involvement in technology-driven business transformation projects.
- Technical certifications are highly regarded.
- Strong collaborator, problem-solving, and people skills.
- Experience with data integrations/architecture (SAP S/4HANA, ETL, and REST API).
- Similar roles (Level 1 / Level 2 Technical Support, Post-Sales InfoSec Consulting).
- Willingness to travel occasionally (as needed).
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
