The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.
As an expert in the space sector, you will be at the forefront of the industry. You will create insightful, original thought‑leading content and reports that will be used by globally recognised businesses in their decision‑making processes. You will gather and analyse data, produce valuable insight and present it to your team and clients via presentations or visualisation tools. Depending on your experience, you will progressively have sole responsibility for an entire field of study. You will work alongside industry experts, and you will develop your own analyst skills through practical and, often, client‑facing work. You will attend industry events such as conferences, where you will represent Analysys Mason and provide thought leadership on the space industry. Your contribution will have an immediate impact for our teams and our clients’ needs, influencing strategic decisions and providing thought leadership on the subject.
Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
- Researching market developments to identify trends and draw conclusions on future outlooks
- Analysing data and formulating a qualitative opinion based on that analysis
- Excel modelling and forecasting including working with and manipulating large data sets
- Writing original research content on specific topics
- Presenting your findings to team members and clients
- Engaging with clients and stakeholders in the industry with the support of your manager
- Proactively developing your market knowledge by tracking industry developments, including attending events and webinars.
Qualifications: We recognise and celebrate the fact that not everybody is the same, and we value the diversity of backgrounds and skillsets you will add to our team. As a minimum, you need to have experience in a research role in the space industry, where you researched the industry, and created original, thought‑leading content. You also need to enjoy analysing and interpreting large sets of data and creating engaging reports to communicate the patterns and trends that you find. You must be fluent in English.
