Untold Fable is a global content production company challenging the way things are done to change them for the better. We’re here to make diversity in our industry the norm, not the exception; we’re here to work in completely new ways and to show how purpose and commercial success go hand in hand. This mission, coupled with our creative and production expertise, has cemented relationships with the world’s biggest brands, from Nike and Meta to Stella Artois and Bumble.
We support and champion each other internally as much as the production talent we commission. We foster an empowered culture where different people and perspectives can thrive at every stage of their careers; open minds are welcome, egos are not. We operate a hybrid, flexible working model, coming together in our amazing office in Clerkenwell, London and Brooklyn, New York, 1‑3 days per week.
We are looking for a first class Producer to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to the Head of Production, this role is UK‑based, but you will have the opportunity to work with a huge range of brands worldwide and facilitate production in multiple countries. You will travel internationally when projects require you.
You will be responsible for scoping, running and delivering a number of projects for key clients, sometimes working direct to client with support from our Client Services team and also in collaboration with our sister company AnalogFolk. With a wealth of production knowledge, particularly in the delivery of short‑form content, you’ll be an expert in shooting and editing techniques, specific equipment and locations, as well as insurance and taxes.
You will ensure that productions are run smoothly and efficiently end to end, with target margins being consistently achieved. You will work collaboratively with the core team at Untold Fable, whilst liaising with the Creative team and ensuring the project stays true to the original vision. You will maintain Untold Fable’s high standard of execution in everything you create.
On large bids, you will lead the search for the right creative talent, specifically pitching and attaching Directors to projects. You will be heavily involved in the use of our talent network, and will use our platform as part of your ongoing search for new and diverse creative talent.
You are an excellent Producer with a positive outlook. You thrive in an environment where collaboration is vital. Your desire to deliver fresh, impactful work is equalled by the joy you take in supporting and championing your colleagues and your passion for making positive change in the production industry.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience producing short‑form video content, with a minimum of 5 years in an agency, production company or similar environment
- Experience scoping out briefs, assembling crews and preparing production schedules
- Experience writing and managing budgets from £10K to £500K
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- A keen visual eye and strong knack for storytelling ensuring all projects are produced at the highest possible specification; experience in a client‑facing role
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Confidence negotiating with suppliers with a positive collaborative approach
- Calm, yet assertive, you approach problems with a positive solution‑oriented attitude
- Someone that fits in a very ‘can do’ and solutions oriented team
- Culturally aware of current industry trends and forecasts, with a love of video content; commercial acumen and entrepreneurial thinking
