Our client roster is growing each month working with companies such as: Nike, Bumble, HSBC, Tripadvisor and Meta. Untold Fable is proud to be part of The AnalogFolk Group, therefore this role will at times collaborate with members of the AnalogFolk team working alongside strategy and creative to deliver brilliant work. Untold Fable has its own client base as well as the work we do in collaboration with AnalogFolk.
The Role
You are a highly skilled Senior Editor with strong motion graphics capabilities and a deep understanding of the entire post‑production pipeline. You are ready to take a leading role in shaping the future of a growing post‑production department. You bring not only advanced creative and technical skills, but also the strategic mindset needed to develop workflows, streamline processes, and support a scalable post‑production operation.
You excel in short‑form commercial and branded content and stay ahead of editing trends and technology across all social platforms. You can confidently run projects end‑to‑end, work collaboratively when needed, and creatively problem solve, whilst respecting budgets and timelines.
Your design sensibilities are grounded in strong conceptual thinking, visual storytelling, and brand alignment. You are detail‑oriented, organised, an excellent communicator, and capable of managing both your own projects and contributing to department‑wide operational improvements.
Senior Responsibilities
- Post‑Production Leadership & Process Development
- Develop, document, and refine post‑production workflows, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the department.
- Establish best practices for editing, motion graphics, versioning, review cycles, and delivery standards.
- Collaborate with the Head of Production to scale the department in line with company growth.
- Work closely with editors, motion designers, and producers to ensure pipeline clarity and alignment.
- Identify and implement new editing tools, plugins, AI‑assisted workflows, and technical solutions.
- Media & Asset Management
- Build and maintain robust media management systems, including folder structures, ingest processes, naming conventions, and delivery protocols.
- Oversee LTO backups, footage syncing, drive organisation, and long‑term archive strategy.
- Ensure best‑practice asset security, storage efficiency, and cross‑team accessibility.
- Monitor and optimise server and storage workflows as the department scales.
- Team & Departmental Support
- Mentor junior editors and motion designers, offering creative feedback and technical guidance.
- Assist in shortlisting and vetting freelance editors and post‑production specialists when required.
- Support resource planning, workload distribution, and identification of skill gaps.
- Champion a collaborative, inclusive, and solutions‑focused culture.
- Creative & Technical Responsibilities
- Create and execute high‑quality motion graphics and animated content across organic digital content including but not limited to TVCs, social, web, CRM, and OOH.
- Edit high‑impact video content: Turn raw footage into polished, brand‑aligned narratives for social media (Reels, TikTok, Shorts), campaign launches, and store openings with strong pacing and visual flow.
- Motion Graphics & Animation: Design and animate 2D elements, text, logos, and in‑store menu board visuals to elevate visual storytelling.
- AI‑Assisted Workflow: Leverage AI‑powered creative tools to generate visual assets, environments, and video content to deliver innovative work at scale.
- Narrative & Sound Design: Craft compelling narratives by managing timing, sound design, and visual rhythm.
- Multi‑Platform Optimisation: Optimise and export assets for various formats and ratios (Social, Web, Digital Screens) ensuring all technical specifications are met.
- Template Development: Create reusable motion templates for global teams to maintain brand consistency during expansion.
- LTO backups, syncing footage, hard drive management and general departmental duties to uphold and improve the running of the Post Production department.
- Championing UF’s diverse network of talent, with direct involvement in shortlisting freelance post‑production roles when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of professional editing experience, ideally with senior‑level responsibilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong experience in motion graphics, animation, typography, and compositing.
- Familiarity with AI tools and emerging post‑production technologies.
- Proven experience building workflows or contributing to the development of post‑production processes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills with peers and clients alike.
