Staff Analog IC Design Engineer at Analog Devices
Team
The Data Center and Energy team at Analog Devices is seeking a Staff Analog IC Design Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of analog subsystems, with the potential to lead entire IC product developments, working with a team of analog designers to generate creative and innovative ideas, define specifications, develop architectures and execute designs, including transistor-level design, behavioral modeling, pre-silicon verification and documentation, and post-silicon validation
- Develop optimized solutions with consideration of performance, area, power, risk, resources, and schedule
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development flows and methodologies for the team
- Provide guidance and support to other functions, including the layout team, test development, and bench evaluation
- Support technical feasibility investigations and advanced development projects
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership for junior engineers, enabling a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, with 7+ years of analog circuit design experience
- Experience in complex IC and IP developments
- Good understanding of semiconductor device physics
- Strong technical and analytical background with good problem-solving skills
- Strong team worker within multi-discipline, multi-cultural and multi-site environments
- Good understanding of analog and mixed-signal design flow and top-down development methodology
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Power management design experience, especially hotswap controllers, electronic fuses, switching DC-DC converters or gate drivers
- Python scripting ability
- Analog behavioral modeling experience
