Role
Analog Devices is seeking an innovative, self-motivated, new or recent graduate embedded software engineer to join our team developing industry-leading Battery Management Systems at the heart of vehicle electrification and industrial energy storage. You’ll join a team (local and global) that shares a genuine passion for defining and developing products that are fundamentally changing the world of transportation and energy. Helping create software products comprised of real-time, embedded software to cloud-based analytics, you’ll help Analog Devices drive the future of automotive – Intelligence at the Edge.
Responsibilities
- Help define and specify new embedded software for ADI automotive electrification products – battery management systems in particular.
- Design, develop and test scalable, high quality automotive embedded software and system products.
- Implement novel, efficient software technologies to improve product throughput.
- Develop separate elements of software that work well in the program as a whole.
- Collaborate and interact with other functional teams.

Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical, Computer and Systems Engineering.
- Newly graduated or with a few years’ experience of embedded software product development.
- Strengths in all aspects of software development and software lifecycle.
- Possess strong communication skills and preference for delivering as part of a team.
- Have a bias for action and work in collaboration with others to deliver results.
- Ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of software, applications, system, marketing and product engineers with wide-ranging backgrounds, cultures, and geographies.
- Strong C/C++ and proficiency in Python.
- Knowledge of embedded microcontrollers and real-time operating systems.
Desirable
- Knowledge of lithium-ion Battery Management Systems.
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink and Embedded Coder.
- Agile development methods including use of Confluence/Jira/Jama tools.
- Knowledge/experience with development process (e.g. ASPICE, ISO26262) compliance.
- Experience in automotive OEM/Tier 1/2 customer engagements.
