The Position
The Energy Business Unit is seeking an experienced Project Manager who combines strong customer‑facing programme leadership with solid internal project and delivery management skills. The role focuses on managing customer communications, customer relationships, customer programmes, workshops, sampling and pilots, while also providing structured project governance and coordination across internal teams to ensure commitments are delivered predictably.
Key Responsibilities – Customer & Market Facing
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and strategic partners, owning engagement and communication.
- Prepare and deliver high‑quality customer‑facing communications including status updates, summaries, and executive‑ready materials.
- Identify, qualify, and help shape new customer opportunities, translating customer needs into structured internal project or programme proposals.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead customer workshops, technical reviews, roadmap alignment sessions, and solution discovery activities.
- Manage customer sampling programmes, pilots, and evaluations, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, deliverables, and follow‑up actions.
Key Responsibilities – Internal Project & Programme Management
- Provide project and programme management structure for customer‑driven initiatives, including planning, tracking, and risk management.
- Work with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Applications, and Manufacturing to define scope, responsibilities, schedules, and dependencies.
- Track milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues, escalating as appropriate to ensure commitments are met.
- Support business justification, prioritization, and resourcing discussions by providing customer context, value rationale, and delivery impact.
- Manage change requests that impact scope, schedule, or cost, ensuring transparency and alignment across stakeholders.
- Ensure projects and programmes follow appropriate internal processes, quality standards, and post‑release review practices.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate must be self‑motivated, dynamic, meticulous, prepared to take the initiative and also exhibit the following skills:
- Ideally have 5+ years’ experience in an Engineering Project/Program Manager role working with large multinational companies.
- Strong Knowledge of MS Office Tools.
- Confident using modern digital and AI‑enabled tools to improve project tracking, communication, insight generation, and decision-making.
- Curious and open-minded about new tools, processes, and ways of working that increase efficiency and quality of delivery.
- Ability to plan and drive tasks to completion through close coordination with multiple groups.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Expectations
- Maintain accurate programme and project records in internal systems.
- Travel to customer sites as required to support workshops, reviews, and relationship building.
