The Data Center and Energy team at Analog Devices is seeking a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer. The successful candidate will join a talented and motivated multi-disciplinary team, working with a global team of innovators to develop new industry-leading IC products for the high-growth data center and energy markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead block-level digital design and verification activities
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines in defining specifications, developing architectures, executing design and supporting post-silicon
- Develop optimized digital solutions with consideration of performance, area, power and schedule
- Assist with timing constraints and timing closure
- Participate in customer engagements, in support of technical feasibility and proposals
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronics engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of experience
- Digital design experience across multiple blocks or products
- Digital design expertise including Verilog / SystemVerilog RTL, clock domain crossings and timing constraints
- Use of linting tools
- Understanding and experience of digital verification approaches and tools
- Strong technical and analytical background with good problem-solving skills
- Strong team worker within multi-discipline, multi-cultural and multi-site environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Experience integrating digital blocks with analog/mixed signal designs
- Proficiency with Cadence tool suite
- Scripting languages (Shell, TCL, PERL, Python)
- Analog behavioral models and mixed-signal verification methodology
- UVM verification
- Constrained-random verification, functional coverage and assertions
