The Healthcare BU is seeking an experienced Product Applications Engineer to join our team to drive growth and adoption of Analog Devices products in the Life Sciences, Diagnostic and Pharma markets, focusing on tools used by scientists and researchers in a broad array of health & sustainability-related applications. A successful candidate will be able to assess complex customer workflows, establish strategies for profitable growth, and drive execution across organizational boundaries. The candidate will work closely with a cross-functional team of marketing, systems engineering, applications, sales and field engineers to drive ADI's product roadmap, identify the best system-level solutions, define new products in areas like biosensing, and contribute to the R&D investment decision-making process. In addition, the candidate will engage directly with customers and drive outbound marketing activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Engage with lead customers to identify system-level requirements, develop solutions roadmap, formulate partnership strategies and drive deeper technical engagements
- Identify and investigate emerging markets/applications to drive future growth, aligning the highest potential with either available or new technology opportunities as appropriate
- Align with key stakeholders within the technology groups, sales and across market segment units, to understand key trends, both advanced technology and market, and implications for future roadmap and strategy
- Develop go to market programs including white papers, field application and sales training material, and website structure
Requirements:
- BSEE or equivalent; MS or MBA desirable but not a requirement.
- 5+ years' experience in the electronics or life sciences industries. Product marketing or applications experience preferred
- Experience within the life sciences, diagnostics or related industry preferred
- Technical competency in electronics design, sensing and/or systems engineering preferred
- Demonstrated track record of success in:
- Focus on execution and results – establishing high standards for performance, follow through on plans
- Focus on the customer and business growth to deliver superior customer outcomes and superior customer experience
- Collaborating with a global mindset and cross-cultural competence
- Working and aligning with multiple stakeholders across complex, large organizations
