An established national law firm is seeking to recruit a Solicitor (1–5 PQE) to join its growing Dispute Resolution practice, with a focus on Property Litigation and/or Commercial Dispute Resolution. This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious and supportive team working on high-quality, complex matters for clients operating in the health, social care, charity and social enterprise sectors. The role is flexible and can be tailored to suit the successful candidate’s strengths, whether that be a primary focus on property litigation or a mixed caseload including commercial disputes. The position is based in Southampton, with hybrid working available.
Candidate Profile / Experience Needed
- Be a qualified Solicitor with between 1–5 years’ PQE
- Have a solid grounding in commercial property litigation since qualification and consider it a key area of expertise
- Ideally have experience in areas such as service charge disputes, lease renewals (1954 Act), insolvency in a property context, overage disputes, professional negligence, rent reviews, break options, dilapidations, possession claims and exit strategies
- Be comfortable working closely with colleagues across multiple offices and practice areas
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Be confident engaging with a diverse client base, including health and social care organisations
- Have a clear understanding of, and commitment to, data security and compliance requirements
