We are working with a respected law firm in Greater Manchester. Our specialist legal recruitment team is currently retained on an exciting opportunity for an Employment Solicitor to join a dynamic, close-knit employment team.
Role Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded regional practice with a supportive and collaborative culture. This role offers the chance to work across both respondent and claimant employment law matters within a friendly and forward-thinking legal team.
The successful candidate will enjoy a varied caseload, advising and representing clients on a wide range of employment law issues including:
- Contract law
- Disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Redundancy and restructuring
- Discrimination and harassment
- Day-to-day HR advisory work
You will be involved in both contentious and non-contentious matters and contribute to business development initiatives within the team.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking applications from qualified solicitors with ideally 2-5 years’ PQE in employment law, although strong NQ solicitors with prior employment law paralegal experience are also encouraged to apply. Essential skills and attributes include:
