Role Overview
At present the banking and finance work at this firm is handled by the general corporate team by 2 partners with assistance from associates in the team. They are looking for a specialist finance lawyer to take over the existing client base and have a remit for developing a specialist banking and finance team. The work is a split of commercial and real estate finance work and the successful candidate would be expected to deal with both types of work.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in banking or corporate finance work is essential. As a guide our client is looking for someone with at least 5 years experience.
- Real estate finance experience would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.
- Good level of commercial awareness with strong attention to detail and good drafting skills.
- Must be willing and able to get involved in client and business development. Initially the focus will be on managing existing client relationships with a future focus on additional client development.
