An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor to join a compassionate and dedicated Private Law Children and Domestic Abuse team based in Bristol. This role would suit a family law specialist with around 5 years’ PQE, who is passionate about making a genuine difference to clients during some of the most challenging times in their lives. You’ll handle a varied caseload of private and legal aid matters, focusing on children law and domestic abuse work, while providing clear, supportive, and sensitive advice to clients. You’ll be joining a team that truly values collaboration, empathy, and integrity, with opportunities to contribute to the firm’s wider family law practice and to develop your career in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Candidate Profile / Experience Needed
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 5 years’ PQE in family law.
- Strong background in Private Law Children and Domestic Abuse matters.
- Experience managing both private and publicly funded family cases.
- Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with understanding and discretion.
- A team player who is organised, proactive, and comfortable managing their own caseload.
- A genuine interest in mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the growth of the team.
- Commercial awareness and a commitment to delivering a high-quality, client-centred service.
