A leading national law firm is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its specialist team based in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UK’s most highly regarded claimant clinical negligence practices, handling complex and high-profile litigation that has a genuine impact on clients’ lives.

Working alongside experienced partners within a specialist team, you will manage your own caseload of medical negligence and group action claims while also assisting on major multi-party litigation and product liability matters. The work often involves cases of significant complexity and sensitivity, including claims relating to defective medical devices, pharmaceuticals and large-scale healthcare failures.

This role offers the chance to be involved in landmark litigation and complex investigations, working closely with counsel, experts and other stakeholders to build strong cases and secure justice for clients.

Candidate Profile / Experience Needed

  • Qualified Solicitor with minimum 3 years pqe
  • Strong background in claimant clinical negligence work
  • Experience managing your own caseload of clinical negligence matters
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a busy litigation team
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to manage complex and sensitive cases
  • Experience of group actions or product liability litigation would be advantageous but is not essential
