Personal injury solicitor is required by this award-winning firm to work alongside an experienced lawyer to deal with complex catastrophic injury work from its office in central London.

Role Overview

In joining this firm, you will work alongside a senior lawyer and specialist in high-value injury cases. You will become part of an established national practice recognized as a market leader in high-value injury work. All the work is complex high-value multi-track personal injury work, often involving brain, spinal, and paralysis injuries. You will assist the senior associate on their caseload alongside a junior solicitor and paralegal.

Duties will involve:

  • Working alongside the existing Serious Injury team.
  • Handling new and existing claims, including litigated matters.
  • Travelling to meet clients and potential witnesses face-to-face.
  • Attending court hearings and inquests.
  • Liaising with barristers, medical experts, and other professionals to assist with each claim.
  • Preparing and drafting documents, briefs, instructions, and schedules.
  • Valuing claims and dealing with settlement negotiations.

Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a personal injury solicitor who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in personal injury work, ideally with exposure to litigated multi-track work.
  • As a guide, you will have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in this work.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team.
  • You will work proactively on all parts of the litigation process with colleagues in the team.
  • Able to work to deadlines and help manage a complex caseload.
