This hugely successful Yorkshire company is looking to appoint their first in-house counsel.
You will be tasked with dealing with all legal aspects of the business as they continue their rapid expansion across the UK. Matters might include commercial and corporate, commercial property, licensing, IP, compliance, disputes, employment, and corporate governance among other areas.
The role will suit a self-starter with commercial gravitas and business acumen who can improve processes across the business and ultimately assist in making the firm more profitable. It is likely you will already be working in an in-house team and be familiar with the vagaries of this type of position.
The role will expose you to senior stakeholders and external third parties, so it\’s crucial you have demonstrable and highly effective communication skills and confidence for building relationships both with fellow staff and external clients.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a high-caliber work environment and a chance to develop and mold the legal team as the firm expands even further. The salary brackets are an indication only. Key is the right personality fit in a fast-paced and dynamic organization.
Without exception, this is an office-based role in Leeds five days per week.
