Family Law Solicitor (3+ PQE)

The Role

You will manage a busy private family law caseload, providing high-quality legal advice and excellent client care across a range of matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload, including divorce, financial remedy, Children Act matters, non-molestation/occupation orders, and cohabitation (TOLATA) disputes
• Draft applications, statements, bundles and other court documents
• Maintain regular, professional communication with clients
• Attend hearings and undertake advocacy where appropriate
• Ensure files are well organised and compliant with internal processes
• Record time accurately and meet agreed billing and productivity targets
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support junior staff when required

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ Family Law experience
• Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
• Confident in managing a busy caseload
• Highly organised, attentive to detail and client-focused
• Calm, professional and empathetic under pressure

Desirable

• Experience in both children and financial matters
• Advocacy experience
