A reputable legal practice with a dedicated Court of Protection team is seeking a Solicitor to join its Manchester office. The role focuses on the day-to-day management of clients’ property and financial affairs where clients lack capacity, supporting Court of Protection Deputies and working closely with families and carers to ensure clients’ best interests are upheld. You will manage your own caseload while receiving guided support and supervision, an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in Court of Protection work.
Candidate Profile / Experience Needed
- Qualified Solicitor with 0–4 years PQE
- Prior experience in Court of Protection matters (Property & Affairs)
- Strong understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005
- Sound technical legal ability and professional judgement
- High level of organisation and ability to record work accurately
- Personable, confident, and capable of handling sensitive client situations
- Team player who can also work using own initiative
What’s On Offer
- Salary: £41,000 – £60,000 per annum (DOE)
