Help Build the Future of Global Decision-Making

Location: Fully Remote (European time zones)

Reports to: Senior Code Developer, collaborates directly with Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Ferenc Dalnoki-Veress

What We're Building

Anadyr Horizon builds decision infrastructure for the age of strategic surprise. Our Strategic Warning AI simulates geopolitical escalation before crises spiral out of control. Fresh from our AI Expo debut, we're now rolling out new client engagements serving governments, investors, and insurers who can't afford to be surprised.

What You'll Do

  • Build Python systems that power Agentic Systems Intelligence (ASI) - our breakthrough approach to simulating real decision-makers under pressure
  • Deploy across multi-region AWS environments so crisis simulations reach decision-makers when minutes matter
  • Create React interfaces that make complex escalation pathways understandable for national security professionals and analysts
  • Design PostgreSQL databases optimized for massive dynamic simulations and high-volume behavioral modeling data
  • Integrate machine learning models that predict how conflicts escalate, building pipelines from research to strategic warning systems
  • Help achieve enterprise compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001)

This is a full-time role (approx. 40 hours/week). While we operate with flexibility, we’re looking for someone who can fully integrate into our engineering team during European working hours.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years Python experience with web frameworks (FastAPI preferred)
  • React proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript
  • AWS experience: EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, plus deployment automation
  • PostgreSQL expertise with performance optimization
  • Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines
  • EU work authorization for European time zones
  • Experience building and scaling data-driven or simulation-heavy applications is a plus

If This Is You

You're a strong Python programmer who wants to build technology that prevents the next major crisis. You understand that in geopolitics, the difference between prediction and surprise can be the difference between peace and catastrophe. You're excited about working with Harvard-trained simulation experts to create something that genuinely matters for global stability.

Why Join Now

We're building the decision engine the world didn't have during the Cuban Missile Crisis. You'll work directly with the team that predicted the Ukraine War, help create technology for some of the highest-stakes decisions, and build systems designed to work when everything else is falling apart. While our salary reflects our early stage, you’ll be joining a rapidly growing tech company and world-class team on a mission to give world leaders the foresight they need in the age of strategic surprise.

If you want your code to help prevent the next global crisis, let's talk.
