Anabas is a leading national Facilities Management provider, creating exceptional workplace experiences for corporate clients. We're looking for a proactive, reliable and customer-focused Housekeeper/ Cleaning Operative to join our team at a prestigious client site in St James's, Central London.
Employment vetting clearance is required for this role which includes a DBS.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation across the workplace.
- Clean and refresh offices, meeting rooms, reception, executive areas and high-traffic spaces.
- Manage general, recycling and food waste.
- Keep kitchenettes and social spaces clean, tidy and well stocked.
- Spot-clean carpets and flooring using specialist equipment.
- Clean and reset meeting rooms after use.
- Report maintenance, operational and facilities issues promptly.
- Support the wider Facilities Team with light porterage, including moving furniture, reconfiguring workstations and setting up meeting rooms and events.
- Assist catering and events teams when required.
- Provide a professional and helpful point of contact for facilities-related queries.
- Follow all company, Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity and operational procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning or a similar role.
- A positive, professional and customer-focused attitude.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and willing to support wider facilities requirements.
- Physically able to undertake manual handling and furniture setup tasks. Full training provided.
