We are currently looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join our facilities team at a high-profile site in Swindon. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a great variety of work across multiple building services disciplines. This is a static role with occasional travel to nearby client sites (company pool vehicle provided).
About the Role
As a Multi Skilled Engineer with Anabas, you will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the site, covering a range of systems including:
- Electrical (lighting, small power, fault finding)
- Plumbing (pipework, drainage, water systems)
- HVAC systems (basic servicing, filter changes, fault diagnosis)
- General fabric maintenance (doors, floors, walls, fixtures)
You will support compliance with statutory obligations, assist with small works and subcontractor supervision, and be part of the call-out rota.
What We’re Looking For
- Recognised trade qualification (e.g. City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent) in electrical, mechanical, or HVAC etc.
- Proven experience across a variety of building services disciplines
- Understanding of safe systems of work and toolbox talks
- Good knowledge of PPM systems and working to SFG20/ACOP standards
- Ability to use a smart phone/tablet and complete digital records
- A flexible, can-do approach to a broad range of tasks
- Full UK driving licence (pool vehicle provided for any site travel)
Desirable (not essential):
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Previous experience with commercial office environments
- Ability to act as Authorised Person (or willingness to train)
