We are seeking proactive and committed Housekeepers to join the Anabas team.
As Housekeeper for our prestigious client, you will deliver a world class, high-quality workplace experience across a high-profile office environment.
As an integral role in maintaining high standards of the office environment, you will provide a range of cleaning services conforming to established process and standards of excellence and support the Facilities Team where required.
The position holder will be expected to proactively and positively take charge of Housekeeper services and the assigned responsibilities and tasks, ensuring the client expectations are exceeded in delivery of building cleanliness throughout the working day.
Β£30,866.88 | 40 hours | Monday to Friday 8.30 β 5.30pm
Key Responsibilities
Continuous Cleaning & Hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness across all areas throughout the day
- Focus on high-touch points (door handles, lift buttons, surfaces, glazing)
- Ensure a consistently fresh and safe working environment
Waste & Environmental Management
- Manage general, recycling, and food waste streams
- Transfer waste to designated collection areas
- Follow reporting procedures as required
Shared Spaces & Facilities
- Clean and maintain kitchenettes, tea points, and communal areas
- Ensure availability of clean crockery, glassware, and cutlery
- Collect used items and operate dishwashers
Meeting Room & Office Areas
- Clean and tidy meeting rooms after use
- Support resetting of furniture and room layouts
- Maintain high standards in reception, executive, and high-traffic areas
Washroom Maintenance
- Clean and restock toilets and shower facilities regularly
- Monitor and respond to usage throughout the day
Stock & Equipment Management
- Assist with stock control, deliveries, and cleaning supplies
- Maintain cleaning cupboards and equipment
- Support laundering of cleaning materials
Reactive Support & Communication
- Respond to ad hoc cleaning requests promptly
- Act as a point of contact for cleaning-related queries
- Report issues and escalate concerns to management
Health, Safety & Standards
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Take responsibility for personal and team safety
- Promote company and client values
Qualifications & Experience
> Have a good level of English, (reading, writing, verbal)
> Previous Cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
> Have a flexible approach to the role
> Have the ability to work in a physically demanding role
> Have a good understanding of using specialist cleaning equipment and COSHH
