The Role

We are seeking a well-established, reliable and motivated Cleaning Manager to join our team at one of our prestigious client sites in London. Working as part of our professional cleaning team, you will play a key role in ensuring the workplace is clean, safe and presentable at all times. Leading and supporting a team of approximately 24 employees including 2 Supervisors across daytime housekeeping and intrusive night operation; ensuring the delivery of seamless and high-quality cleaning services within a prestigious corporate environment. Responsible for staffing, performance, quality standards, compliance, and service delivery, the successful candidate will drive operational excellence, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement while championing Anabas' values of Health & Safety, Security, Colleague Engagement, Customer Advocacy and Business Growth.

This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday 40 hours a week at an annual salary of between £37,000 and £40,000 dependent on experience. A flexible attitude to the working hours and shift is required from the suitable applicant.

Main Duties

  • Responsible for ensuring that the contract is fully staffed at all times, managing HR and payroll processes for all direct reports.
  • Management of budgets/P&L and cost efficiencies within the remit of your responsibilities.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities are performed within the relevant statutory requirements and are totally compliant with H&S legislation.
  • To ensure that service levels and standards are met by appropriate measures of auditing our performance, individual KPIs and client satisfaction.
  • Provide customer service training, COSHH, cleaning methods training to all new starters and ensure refresher training is provided to current groups.
  • To provide first line resolution in relation to client concerns and complaints, utilising the support of a variety of experts within the business.
  • To manage stock levels of chemicals, materials and consumables, liaising with internal/external suppliers and customers of Anabas and ensure that you own your responsibilities and accountability.
  • To work various shift patterns to positively and effectively manage and train both day & night teams as required.
  • Carry out cleaning duties following agreed processes, systems of work, and industry standards leading by example.
  • Perform any additional duties required within the cleaning scope.
  • Support colleagues, supervisors and management team where needed to deliver an excellent service.
