Anabas is a dynamic, national Facilities Management provider focused on delivering outstanding workplace experiences for corporate office occupiers. We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to act as the primary off-site representative, leading the strategic and operational delivery of Total Facilities Management services across multiple client environments. This is a pivotal role responsible for creating a safe, seamless and high-quality workplace experience, spanning workplace programmes, relocation projects, asset management and day-to-day facilities operations.
You will bring a strong blend of management expertise and stakeholder leadership, confidently balancing client expectations with supplier performance through a proactive, solutions-driven approach. Act as a key member of the operations management team, ensuring the delivery of a 5-star TFM service to the client base. Ensure building services, planned works and reactive works are followed through by site management and specialist teams. Work with site, facilities managers, the Anabas Helpdesk and approved sub-contractors to ensure client-specific SLAs and KPIs are achieved. Ensure Health & Safety procedures are in place, compliance is achieved and suitable records are maintained. Establish the correct service standards and ensure agreed SLAs and KPIs are consistently met.
Quality, Risk and Service Improvement
Implement quality control and performance measurement procedures to maintain high standards of service, quality and contractual compliance. Proactively identify gaps in service provision and develop innovative business solutions to support organic growth across TFM services. Prepare business cases for the Account Director where additional opportunities, improvements or service enhancements are identified. Proactively manage risk through audits and effective coordination with subcontractors, landlords and regulatory bodies.
Client and Stakeholder Management
Build excellent relationships with clients through effective account management strategies. Encourage strong working relationships between operational teams and client representatives. Deliver accurate service delivery and performance reports to client stakeholders and the Anabas senior management team.
Commercial and Financial Management
Hold overall budgetary accountability for the contracts within your portfolio. Ensure equipment, payroll, materials and subcontractor costs are managed within agreed budgets.
People Management
Communicate clearly and positively with staff at all levels. Create a focus on employee engagement, business goals and a positive working environment.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience.
- Essential: 5-10 years demonstrable experience within the Building Services or TFM sector, including delivery of complex services and contractual interpretation. Proven experience providing leadership within similar-sized organisations. Ability to manage diverse TFM portfolios with varying needs and priorities. Experience of robust budget management, process improvement, team leadership and relationship management. Customer-driven approach with a strong focus on continuous improvement. Ability to communicate professional, concise and accurate information in written and verbal formats. Willingness to challenge assumptions and work collaboratively with colleagues to identify new solutions. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Flexibility to meet the needs of the business.
- Desirable: Degree-level education in a relevant Building Services discipline, or equivalent experience. Willingness to travel UK-wide, including some overnight stay where required.
