Anabas is a dynamic national Facilities Management company focused on supporting corporate office occupiers who want to provide an exceptional workplace experience for their staff and customers. We are seeking a professional and reliable Security Lead Officer to oversee site security operations, including the supervision of one security officer. This role requires flexibility to cover a range of shifts and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular site patrols, ensuring premises and assets remain secure
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, supporting safe evacuations when required
- Monitor contractor compliance with Health & Safety procedures
- Check fire routes and emergency exits for safety and compliance
- Identify and report hazards across internal and external areas
- Log and report all incidents, accidents, and unusual activity
- Support energy efficiency by securing lights and windows when appropriate
- Handle anti-social behaviour, emergencies, and first aid situations
- Investigate control room reports and take appropriate action
- Maintain a visible and proactive security presence
- Report maintenance and cleanliness issues to support site standards
- Supervise and support one security officer to maintain performance standards
Candidate Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding)
- Previous security experience, ideally in a supervisory role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm, professional approach under pressure
- High level of reliability and attention to detail
- Flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
- Basic IT skills for reporting and logging incidents
Vetting Requirements
- Ability to provide a full, trackable 5-year employment/education history
- Must pass BS7858 security screening
