In this role, you’ll oversee all MEP, HVAC, fire/life safety, and energy systems, ensuring peak performance and reliability. You’ll implement preventive maintenance programs, manage BAS/EMS systems, and lead troubleshooting and improvement initiatives.
You’ll act as the main contact for all engineering matters, supporting audits, reporting, and maintaining strong, proactive client relationships. You’ll also supervise multi-skilled engineers and contractors, ensuring safety, quality, and professional development across the team.
You’ll manage vendors, inspections, and maintenance inventories, while supporting budgeting, expenditure tracking, KPI reporting, and statutory compliance. This is an on-site role within a premium Class A office environment, occasionally requiring out-of-hours or weekend work.
Weekly Shift / Hours: 08.00 – 17.00 / 09.00 - 18.00
Salary: up to £55,000 per annum + Benefits
The job may require the post holder to work reasonable overtime on request, some of which may be at short notice due to the nature of our work.
To succeed, you’ll have at least five years’ experience in commercial building operations, including three years in a supervisory role. You’ll bring strong technical M&E knowledge, leadership ability, excellent communication skills, and confidence using BMS and IT systems. Experience with Total Facilities Management models and Authorised Person status are desirable.
