We are looking for a confident, professional, and highly organised Events and Concierge Team Lead to become a key part of our workplace experience and security team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys leading by example, and takes pride in delivering a 5‑star service.
As the first point of contact for employees, visitors, contractors, and event teams, you will combine exceptional customer service with strong security awareness and operational coordination. Reporting to the Workplace Experience Manager, you will help ensure the smooth delivery of workplace and event services while supporting the day‑to‑day management of security, facilities, and concierge operations. BS7858 vetting clearance will be required before the start of any employment for this role.
About you
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment
- Valid SIA Licence
- First Aid at Work qualification
- IOSH Working Safely qualification (or similar)
- Previous experience in security, concierge, workplace experience, or events environments
- Strong understanding of health & safety and security procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast‑paced environment
- Basic French speaking skills (training can be provided)
- Experience working within corporate events or premium client environments
What You’ll Be Doing
- Front of House & Concierge
- Welcome all visitors and employees with professionalism and warmth
- Provide directions, answer queries, and ensure an exceptional visitor experience
- Manage visitor sign‑in procedures and support reception operations
- Receive and coordinate deliveries and contractor access
- Security & Safety
- Conduct security patrols and maintain a safe working environment
- Monitor fire safety procedures, exits, and evacuation routes
- Support emergency response procedures, including evacuations and incident management
- Assist with access control systems and CCTV monitoring
- Maintain incident reports, risk assessments, audits, and inspections
- Events & Workplace Operations
- Coordinate facilities support for events, including room setups, cleaning, maintenance, porterage, and logistics
- Ensure event spaces are fully prepared, compliant, and operational at all times
- Manage resources and subcontractors around event schedules and business priorities
- Support both in‑hours and out‑of‑hours event coordination
- Team & Operational Leadership
- Support training and communication across the concierge team
- Assist with shift planning and resource management
- Build strong working relationships with clients, landlords, contractors, and colleagues
- Promote company values, health & safety compliance, and inclusive workplace practices
