Anabas Welcome is currently seeking to employ an experienced Corporate Experience Host / Receptionist to carry out front‑of‑house duties to provide an exceptional client experience through the delivery of their duties to one of our prestigious clients in a law firm environment in the Liverpool Street / Moorgate area of London. An exceptionally high standard of service delivery is expected, and you will have the ability to understand what is needed to ensure our client requirements are met and exceeded.

Responsibilities

  • To meet and greet all visitors approaching the desk in a friendly and professional way.
  • Contact hosts to make them aware of their guest arrival and keep visitors updated on waiting times.
  • Escort guests from ground floor to appropriate meeting rooms or lobby area as necessary.
  • Extensive meeting room management including bookings, amendments and cancellations.
  • Undertake and supervise meeting room set‑up for all on‑site meetings and functions. This includes room layout, audio‑visual & IT set‑up assistance (i.e., network connectivity) if required.
  • Ensure all incoming calls for the client business are always handled professionally, efficiently and courteously.
  • Work closely with all department members on site to ensure seamless service to the client and offer support and assistance.
  • Conduct regular walk‑around of the reception area and client floor to ensure a welcoming, safe and inviting environment is received, reporting all issues to the relevant department immediately.
  • Offer refreshments to all guests on arrival and keep refreshment points tidy and well stocked.
  • Work closely with client events teams to assist in event coordination, visitor management and space booking.
  • Ensure all emails are responded to in a professional, accurate and timely manner.
  • Anticipate guest needs and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage cloakroom duties and ensure safe storage of guest items.
  • Issue access passes when required and adhere to security policies.
  • Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others, ensuring you comply with all health & safety procedures.

Experience & Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will have experience working as a receptionist in a busy corporate office environment and the ability to work with senior individuals professionally.
  • Minimum 1 year corporate reception experience.

Skills

  • Exemplary organisation and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and maintain an exceptional level of service whilst managing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to communicate professional, concise and accurate information in written and verbal formats.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Previous experience working with a visitor management or space scheduling system.
  • Ability to interact professionally with people at all levels, including senior leadership and external clients.
  • Immaculate personal presentation aligned with corporate standards.
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Experience working in a law firm desirable.

Employment Terms

This is a full‑time, permanent position (Monday to Friday, 40 hrs per week with shifts between 7am and 7pm).
