Sheet Metal workers opportunity at this busy subcontract sheet metal work company. You will be involved in varied, interesting, and skilled work mostly in Ali, Mild and stainless steel. This is a chance to do fine limit sheet metal work within a busy, stable and friendly company with 1/2 day Fridays, great salaries and extra hours available.

You should be confident reading engineering drawings and have a good solid experience around sheet metal, bending, forming, cutting and operating brake presses and other machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and adjust the brake press machine for various metal bending operations
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine bending requirements
  • Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and accuracy of bends
  • Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications
  • Perform routine maintenance on the machine to ensure optimal performance
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker with expertise in brake press operations
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
