A sub contract precision engineering company with business across various markets is looking for a CNC sliding head turner who can confidently program, set and operate their sliding head machines. Citizen experience would be great but experience with STAR or similar is also acceptable.
You should have in-depth experience with sliding head lathes and be capable of creating as well as improving existing programs. You should be happy to work on small and large batch work and be used to working with a range of materials.
Basic self-inspection using gauges and micrometers is required. This employer offers excellent job security and stability in a friendly team environment. This is one of a few sliding head roles currently available across the UK.
This is a permanent role with a starting salary dependent on experience.
